Goliath grouper from the jetty

talk of a season in Florida soon but talk about big fish close to shore

There needs to be a season on them. Some places are impossible to fish bc of them.

Even those 50 pounders they were catching looked like they could eat a lot.

This sequel video will make meat fishermen mad. Big spanish mack used as bait and the grouper takes it

I can see why folks complain about them eating more "prized" fish like spanish mackerel

Last fall, my son and a couple of buddies were pulling mangrove snappers out from under a deep water dock, when a big Goliath snatched one of the snappers away from them. They broke out the heavy tackle, put a snapper carcass on a big circle hook, and after a violent tussle got their hands on this guy. For perspective, my son is the guy on the right. He's 6'0", 220 lbs.

Ive watched the Goliath videos this guy has. Not nearly as impressive as the commercial king fishing videos he posts. They slay those things in a most pure and simplistic fashion
