I spect it'll have last year's siding. Would love you see it in the fall with fresh sheaves and stalks
Plan your trip to take advantage of passing through heavy traffic areas at times other than peak. If you can hit Knoxville between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM it's not so bad, take the 840 loop around Nashville that's not bad at all. Same for Memphis, middle of the day is much better but gas up and DO NOT STOP anywhere around Memphis especially across the bridge in W Memphis. I-40 through AR will be rough in places, always has been but other than the "rush hour" time periods traffic is usually not that bad around Little Rock or Ft Smith. Same advice for OK City, Amarillo, and all the larger cities just plan to hit them during off peak times. My son and I had planned to tow the camper to Glacier and Yellowstone for a month starting in August. Had everything planned out just like @Sharps40 then Yellowstone flooded and closed. So we’re changing it to Arizona & New Mexico in Oct/Nov. That has us on I-40 for like, 2000 miles. So what’s the story with I-40? Something I should know?
Yeah, but they sure were homey, weren't they? They started calling them rest areas and they made them paths lead to enclosed bathrooms.
Yes. Looks like today is the last hot day for a week. Temps moderating from 100f to 75/45f. Looking fwd to it.Head down the dirt road to Robert's Prarie dog town. We were there last week...last year and saw a ton of Prarie dogs, some bighorn antelope and a large herd of Buffalo.
Also, don't know which entrance you are going in but there is a little tourist trap that has alot of cool old time stuff on a little farm site, worth the money imo.
Gonna be cool in the hills the next few days and windy.
Summins wrong. It don't take that long to go that far at 80. Plus I always run 10 over on the interstate.
You aren't pulling a trailer in those SD winds either
Pansy… I always ran with my ears pinned back
Conditions do matter but fuel economy is usually the reason to back off. Suck a lot of fuel pushing wind.
