Was gonna listen, but it was 19 degrees. I chunked the fire kicked my feet up.

Did hear one, from the porch, gobble a few times about 1pm. He ought not be doing that come 4/1…

Was out scouting this morning for deer season, had a few shock gobbling at owls and crows consistently

Heard 3 this morning in northern Person, none were on me, Thinking this group that was around all fall broke up. Little worried they won’t stick around, haven’t seen a hen on the property since last March.

Alright you gobbler chasers- what did you hear this am? You deserve some action getting out in this cold just for practice. :)
Pretty dang cold in SC yesterday morning. Turkeyfoot and I took my daughter down to scout for the youth weekend. Figured if she going to hunt them, she needs to find them. Heard a few but still not a slam dunk for Saturday....we'll see...

I had a young gobbler come in into the backyard this morning gobbling every breath.
He half strutted a few times but in between scratching for leftover corn he kept gobbling for about 15 minutes. It was awesome to hear.
He was right by himself.
Good thing I know where you live:stir::wave::mosh:

To be sure someone was out listening this morning. I for one am not cause I’m stuck doing this dang work thing! Hopefully get out to listen again tomorrow.

Im seriously thinking about getting up early and taking that drive to listen and Scout I just hope the wind isn't blowing like a $3 hooah

If it were me I would wait another week to start

Closer to time of the hunt will be more valuable intel

Didn't hear jack this morning but I went down to the front field here in Harnett and had a heavy mouth long beard strutting with miss Jenny and Jake junior this evening

No gobbles in Union, SC this morning...just the sounds of my youngest son napping in the rain.
Mine has strep throat, so Im down in Union Co solo prepping for next Saturday. This time last year we already had one dead...
I heard some gobbles but they weren't on fire

I haven't heard a gobble in months. The last few years turkeys are getting scarce around here. There used to be three or four beards in the pasture or fields daily around here but rarely see even one now. They have been hunted right out of the area to the point that the road hunters have even slowed patrols in spring

Went to my lease in the mountains this morning. Heard multiple gobbles. Saw two toms strutting hard in the corn field that borders my land. Also saw a good flock of hens (25-30) making their way along the creek bottom.
