I disagree, I really believe that people have been told how evil being white is for so long that they truly view their race in a negative way.
After all white people are blamed for all the problems and issues that some black people can dream up.

Yes, but he has more money than he can use, and it’s probably his last year anyway. This wasn’t about his job, it was about his legacy. Would he be remembered as a guy who went out as a racist, or a sympathizer, or apologizer or a patriot? He tried to be a patriot but quickly became an apologizer. Seems he didn’t have the courage to stand on the principles he believes in.

I like Drew Brees. Still do. It saddens me that he chose public perception over principle. We need more people like him- people who really do believe in patriotism AND equality - to courageously say that standing for our country is not racist. Unfortunately, he failed.

The wife and I just sat through a rolling protest in Winston Salem.
The theme was black lives matter I think, that seemed to be what 75% of the mostly white participants had stuck or written on their shiny Tahoes, Suburbans, Hondas and Subarus.
It was probably 200 vehicles with a police escort and traffic control with both unmarked and motorcycle patrol cars, no marked police cars.

You either truly believe in something or you cave to political correctness. Very few in this country have the balls to stand for what is right . It's ashame what the citizens in this country have become. Greed and money are the driving force
No one can convince me that drew with drew that statement on his own. He believes in honor of those that fought for the flag in his heart but caved to pressure over money. That my friends is where the United States of America is fccced.i would bet everything I own that his wife and agents asked him to retract his statement so they can keep collecting.
