Anyone here messed with the Geofence abilities on their alpha ?

Nope, don't have any bad places to worry about.
I assume it just alerts you when the collar gets within a certain distance of said geofence ?

No, I have not. Interesting feature though, just have not figured out a practical use for it. Being that I am constantly trying to keep up with the dogs I usually know where they are all at. Once in a while, this feature could alert me that a hound has got out of pocket, maybe 2-3 times a year. I have thought about geofencing the property lines, but then I don't need alerts popping up when I'm in the process of breaking dogs of a race.
That is my understanding.
