Flooding

Old Mossy Horns
No secret I live in Sevierville/pigeon forge TN area. It’s a Waterfowl armpit. Haha. Also no secret we’ve had a lot of flooding and there’s still a lot of water left with no where to go. All these hill and valleys make for impromptu ponds and small lakes. Yesterday, while taking my daughter to daycare, drove by a yard that’s been flooded for about a week. A bluebill drake and hen just chillin out in the front yard. Today I took my trash to the dump that’s about a mile from the house and there’s a pasture that had 8-10 acres flooded along the road. I saw bluebills, ringnecks, canvasbacks, buffleheads and gadwalls. This place was only about 1/4 mile off the French broad river. Crazy what can show up on new water!!
