The Sassagoula River has been closed for fishing since March 2020 till last October. The fishing was as good as Mr. Bill said it would be . He put me on the big fish as always20220304_104433.jpg20220304_101514.jpg

Not familiar with that river. Is it open to the public or charters only?
Man made river inside Disney World. Strictly catch and release. You don't need to stay in Walt Disney World but you do need reservations for the fishing.
All the guys that have taken me out were semi professional fisherman in their spare time that work for Walt Disney World. They know their stuff. He took me to a place where I thought we would not catch jack and hooked the biggest one but he broke the 15 pound test line when he went under the boat. Biggest bass I had ever seen.

I haven’t kept a bass to eat in….. well honestly black remember the last time. If I had to guess I’d say around 20 years. I’ll keep a few trout and reds to eat every so often. I just enjoy fishing and being outside. Oh and by the way, those are some nice fish he put you on. Looks like it was a good day.

I dont care to eat any fresh water fish. I do enjoy fishing but don't know jack about it. I know a little about surf fishing but not enough to be good at it. So I go to the guys who do.20220302_113554_resized_20220305-224636.jpg
