Had my co-work put together a all PSA AR-15 for me. I kept holding off until I finally couldn't do it anymore.

I learned quickly that it will be costly to let my boy shoot it. He has one trigger speed and it's set to fast.

Now I just need to get a set of flip up sights and/or some sort of red dot/scope.

Welcome to the club. It's a bit addicting. Like legos for grownups.

They are fun, but get expensive in a hurry if you shoot and tinker a lot.

Enjoy

So many many different ways to spend money in the AR game. Love em but the choices are almost to much

I have a couple of them currently and have owned a couple of the ‘higher’ end ARs. They are fun guns to shoot and yes some one with a fast trigger finger can burn some ammo up

The Vortex SPARC and Strikefire are both reasonably priced options as well.
Magpul BUIS are pretty hard to beat for most uses.

You'll enjoy the new rifle.

I personally like holographic sights. I have some sort of mental block with a red dot and do not shoot as well with the red dot as I do with a holo.....I have a sightmark holo on one of mine and I have not had any issues with it. The other one wears a fixed 6x super sniper and it does great for yotes and hogs.....and for ringing steel out to 500yds.......and I agree with the magpul back up sites being good
