My son was fishing with a cheap flimsy rod and 1000 reel, catching 12-inch puppies, one after the other near Swan Quarter once, until a 26-incher hit. That rod bent and the reel screamed. He landed it. His first "big" drum. I was excited as he was.

Let's say there was a lot of conflicting directions being whispered and shouted at him. The Lord helped him bring it in because my instructions were confusing!
(Then the bigger caught a 17" black drum, too).
