Falls lake bite was good

Ended my 2 1/2 day camp today early mostly because of pollen (it tears me up) , but all the loading of gear,
firewood, coolers, etc. and 2 kayaks (my 11 year old grandson joined me last eve) put some fatigue on me.
The crappie were biting good but the hot pink jig caught most.
Kept maybe 15 out of 30, I didn't catch any under 8 or 9" , 4 went about 14" and had shoulders. Even caught four 3# greenies on that little jig. most fish were caught in <3 fow .
Will be interesting to see what the MLF pros do tomorrow after the rain/hail storm this eve. Real bed going to feel great tonight.

Man I wanted to go see the MLF up there. My trip to Santee got moved so I guess I will not see it this time. Are they doing a big deal.at.Bass Pro this year also?
Plan to be back Sunday midday.

Right now the commentators are in a studio .
The water level didn't change from 2 days ago.
I will be back at the same area with my 13 year old granddaughter the 15-17th , and she fishes so should be fun . Hope I have a couple more of those jigs. I had another pink one but it got out fished 5 or 6 to 1 . ?
