I would be good with some 70s temps. Starting to get the gardening bug. With the price of a 2.5 gallon jug of glyphosate up about 100.00 more than last year probably going be doing alot more tilling with tractor

You ain't kidding!!! I usually get it in a larger volume. Last year, the price had doubled from the previous year. I wasn't wanting to pay over $300 more for the same product, so I just bought a couple of the 2.5 gallon jugs from Tractor Supply @$60 ea. At that rate, it was the same price, and I figured I could wait another year until the price came back down. I should have went ahead and picked up a few more of those or just bit the bullet and bought volume. Now they want $135 for the same 2.5 gallon product!

I have long had this idea that one day America will see a long term economic collapse, or socialism will take over and our societal system will implode. In my scenario, many of the farms will no longer be profitable to farm, and millions of acres of once-productive land will lay fallow. Without large fields of RR crops, small game will thrive, and quail will finally make a comeback. With fertilizer and Gly prices, we may not be far off.

I usually go through several jugs between about 4 acres I plant vegetables on and some other places around the farm I keep sprayed. Probably check see what bulk price is have several friends that buy it in 250 gallon totes. Not sure what that price will end up but thought it was around 39 a gallon last fall. But that’s usually little more concentrated than what agri supply sells

Well it’s pretty much a given we’ll have nice warm weather all the way until the opening morning of turkey season when it will be 24* at sunrise and they won’t gobble!!

@Dick I just saw where you can still buy vintage 1980s parachute pants with the zippered pockets. I say we start a retro trend and order a few pairs!!! Then we can host a break dancing party with all old school snacks from the 80s!!!

You in?

So then here's your chance to make up for lost time!!!

I was born in 75' so mid 80s I was break dancing with my parachute pants and rat-tail haircut. Thankfully we didn't have cellphones with cameras and the internet back then. Most pictures are now lost or faded

Models all showing a significant arctic blast for the first week of March, seems like in more years than not this period always seems to have cold and snowy threats, some of the biggest winter storms hit the last week of Feb into the first week of March. Anyways its still out in the very long range but the models have done very well this winter sniffing these pattern shifts out so we will see if the models keep it around....

Glad it was 60 today at work. The wind is absolutely howling and is supposed to keep on till tomorrow morning. Rain set in a bit ago but you can barely hear it over the wind. Saying 50 mph gusts. I’m hearing dead pines busting like crazy up in the woods behind the house. Looking forward to inside work in the morning lol
