Few things. No more hard copy stamps. Just a PDF email to you and Estamp on the form. Also no wait for US Mail.
When you get your email you can print it out and show up to do the 4473 and take your item home.
Seeing some local at 2 to 3 month range.
Paper still taking for ever for most part.

Is this for still for individual, or trusts too? I saw that Silencer Shop showed a decently long wait for trusts last time I checked.

I’m at 4 weeks on an efile form 4, we will see. Don’t have high hopes. If they are moving faster, I would assume it’s only to clear things out before the pistol braces become SBRs in August.

My suppressor shop said they got their first back at 59 days. Meanwhile, I’m at 367 days and counting for my first one………..

I'm at 11 weeks for my efile form 4. I hope I get an approval soon.

Keep us posted on the others.

There are a lot of Pissed off people at my shop.
Some are getting them back in 2 to 3 months and othere still waiting for a year or more. One more Government Screw up if you ask me. They need to clear the backlog faster.

Got both those 22 cans. They are great. Mask has less 1st round pop for me.

What was the third?

Whats the easiest way to do this? Single form or creat a trust? I want to try out a .22 can. Mostly for a ruger mk iv but i could see potential on a couple others like an A17 and the little girls rascal. I dont have a .22 long gun but i could pick up a threaded savage or possibly a cz down the road.

just wondering on the best way into this. Also, im going to want to know some good cans for this application. I know the better ones cost 2-3x the cheapest ones but considering the wait and $200 sunk cost anyway....i dont see a reason to cut corners.

So far, the simplest way I see it is to go through silencer shop. I'm about to start the process on a Rugged Obsidian 45 on a single shot trust. I would recommend that if you have family you want to be able to use it when you aren't around.

I was doing some reading and the Oculus .22 looks decent, but I don't have 1st hand experience.
