Update on an old favorite-

1. Chop bacon up and throw in pot to cook - when have cooked, add sausage to bacon

2. Remove bacon/sausage and set aside - add whole dove breasts to grease and brown all over - remove doves and set aside

3. Add chopped onions/garlic - when translucent, place doves on top of onions. Cover completely with chicken broth and pour some beer in for good measure

4. Simmer on low for an hour or so - remove doves and add 2 cups white rice, bring to boil then simmer for 20 mins.

5. While rice is cooking, pulleatnoff doves and shred - add that to sausage and bacon bits

6. When rice is done, add the meats and fold it all in - salt and pepper to taste.
