Waiting on some fried (and burnt) bear cracklins the wife made for them
Edit: all 4 of them are shelter dogs that were labeled “untrainable” and on lists to be put down (yes even the pups) because “no one wants them”
They looked trained to me..trained on that wooden spoon..my bulldog would have tried to make his way to front of line

This is Castiel. He’s a Catahoula, but he’s mostly a bum. He will go sniff out a blood trail every now and then. He has an over inflated sense of self importance, but he’s my pal.
He’s always up for a truck ride, and even travels with me when I go on work trips on occasion.

Here’s my pup. Timberjack. As sweet a dog as there is. 80lbs of pure muscle and goofball. Loves to hunt, and Is just as happy to be laid up in bed with his momma.

Bentley, just turned 3, lab Shepard mix we rescued. Was supposed to be 60lbs but is breaking triple digits.
Talents include sleeping on the furniture, passing gas, tracking mud in the house and growling at random critters that pass thru the yard.
great with the kids though and very friendly with people and other dogs.

Dixie and Hattie. Both rescue pups. Hattie was beat and abused. Took her sometime to get used to me. Now she won’t leave my side. Both spoiled and happy.
