Crimes in NP and the folks that investigate them

The attack on the AT and discussion got me thinking about all the stuff that happens inside out National Parks. I didn't want to hijack the other thread so I'll post up here an interesting story i read about the investigation Division of the Park Rangers. Interesting read and I think some TV producer should make a show about it. For those who think the crime rate is low in NP chew on this I believe there was two murders in the Blue Ridge Parkway last year.

That sounds like a very interesting job, but not sure if i would want to do it. i'm sure people don't realize that not just law abiding people go on vacation, seems to me that people are a lot meaner than used to be when i was younger.
