Cracked cooler repair suggestions

I have a large cooler with two cracks in the outer plastic shell. I want to seal these cracks and prevent them from enlarging. It is white, but stained & has paint overspray, so appearance is not a very high priority. But, saving a very good cooler is.

I have read several suggested repairs on the net. I wanted to see what others on here have done that worked well, or did not work, whatever the case may be. Thank you ahead of time. 😊

At the top and bottom of each line of the crack, drill a very small hole (stop drilling is what it’s referred to) if any spider cracks show, then do the same. Then fill with whatever silicone that is recommended.

Just to make sure, the 3M marine adhesive 5200? I have never used it.
That's correct, most likely if the cooler is any quality at all it's ABS once that stuff sets up it's there. Take a dremel or a die grinder and make sure and stop the cracks at each end if possible and groove it out some for good adhesion and you will be fine.
