Coyote is around about every day or every other day. Deer just keep coming back. Only the bucks are in pics with the yote. The deer are there in pics without the yote minutes later.

A friend of mine has yotes and does in the same picture eating corn. What I have noticed is the yotes aren’t going to mess with something twice or 3 times its size. Fawns in the spring time is probably a different story.

Not at the same location as pic, but I have seen coyotes chasing grown deer.

I watched a mature doe chase a mature (big) coyote a half mile around the side of a long ridge with very small Christmas trees. She stomped his butt several times before going out of sight across the ridge. Twenty minutes later she came back "picked up" her small fawn and moved it 300 plus yards in the opposite direction. I was groundhog hunting when I first saw the coyote come into view. Was gonna help her get rid of it but she attacked before I even had a chance and after the chase began I didn't feel confident in trying to shoot the yote since she was right on its butt until out of sight.
