Today while I was priming some 7mm brass, I had a primer to explode. If that doesn't scare you their ain't a cow in Texas.
I don't know what caused the problem.I was using an rcbs hand priming tool, maybe a primer went in sideways or something else
I was just glad I was wearin my ppe, and the bathroom was near.

The old hand loader? That's what I had it happen with twice but years apart.
Yeah, block o wood and a rawhide mallet.

Oddly enough, I have used one for every caliber I have, and continue to use it for my 45LC. Never had it happen any other time.

I find it relaxing.

Except when a primer goes off of course.

I too have several. Great for loading a box or two at a time. My 22-250 and a 45/70 I had both shoot/shot under an inch with these kits.
