Cool trophy

I'm not much on hunting contest but my son entered us in a local club contest in VA. Said he really was just supporting their fundraiser.

They used the NWTF scoring system. Long story short my bird finished second. Got beat by a multiple beard bird.

Was heaviest bird on day at 23.3 pounds but we were not in the side pots. ($420 )

But won these cool trophies. Pictures don't do justice for their coolness. They are solid and are about the size of a water bottle.

lol. Thats what everyone said. My son signed us up. I didn't know until that morning he didn't put us in.

He said he figured sign up was just a donation. Didn't expect us to actually harvest birds to enter.
