The thing with statistics, you can skew them any way you like.

Looks to me that Independents have the toughest conference based on bowl win percentage. 100% Second place goes to the American 75%, MAC gets 3rd at 71%, and the B1G comes in 4th with 63%. Where is the SEC? Behind the Sun Belt (57%) coming in barely above 500 at 53%

If that’s what you want to go with, you do you boo.

I’ll give OSU credit they are legit, but that argument stops there. Indiana played one ranked team in the regular season and got dog walked.
As far as conferences go, the SEC has six teams (eight if you want to count Texas and OU) that have won championships since the BCS started, while the Big 10 has two. Stats don’t lie.
Six. You don’t count Texas and OU.

Yep, I'll take that bet 👍🏼

Ive just not been impressed with OSU...
Lets not forget that Texas was driving to tie the game. Not saying they would, because their red zone play calling was bad, but in that moment #33 saved their hides.
One thing we have learned is that no one team this year is overly dominant and anything can happen on any given day.

I also called Ewers leaving Texas...you owe me on that one too 🤣😉😎
Tell him OC- ND about to wipe out the big all by themselves.
I hope. LOL

I am only an Auburn fan by association but the sec has won 15 of the last 23…….while the big ten wins an average of 1 title per decade…..not even as many as the acc. So when it’s hard to believe that a sec team is not in the mix it is because it rarely happens

The funniest part of that post..."The SEC fan base on here only sees things one way."

What SEC fans have been doing that on here?

Only one of those was won on the field, the other was voted on.

That is correct. Before 1998, they were voted on by coaches and the AP. There were years when the coaches and the AP did not agree and there were two national champions. Starting in 1998, the coaches were required to use the results of the BCS game to pick their national champion. The AP was not bound to the results of the game. Therefore in 2003, the coaches were forced to pick LSU and the AP selected Southern Cal. I don't see how this differs from all those picked by voters years other than one set of voters were forced to pick the BCS winner. So in 2003, there were two national champions.

You can call Bo Nix a lot of things, mediocre is not one of them.

Go back and look at the Super Bowl where Mahomes was running for his life. His stats were mediocre. He is not.
In college he was mediocre at best. He played for 2 bad coaches then only had success in a conference where there is <0 defense. He has a good coach now and has done pretty well this year. Hope he does well but glad he’s not in an Auburn uniform any more.

He didn't just become a capable QB.

He was a good QB who played on bad teams.

Nobody has done well at QB at Auburn for some time now.

HS
12,000 yards, 200+ TDs

Auburn
Carried a terrible team, SEC Freshman of the year.

Oregon
3,593 yds, 29 TDs, 7 ints 72%
4,508 yds, 45 TDs, 3 ints. 77% ...3rd place in heisman voting.

No average QB puts up those numbers, even if you hate the pac12.

You keep saying he was mediocre, but you can't be a one man football team.

You’re right about the teams not being great while he was at Auburn but he has a LOT to do with that. There hasn’t been a good QB at Auburn in a long time now. But I personally don’t think he would’ve strived anywhere where there was stiff competition and defense. I said the same thing about Sam Howell and drake maye. And while it’s his rookie season……against a real football team today he was yet again……mediocre at best!

Probably 1/3 fewer attempts than average and it’s Nix’s fault.
