Chicken of the Woods - My 1st

I am just now reading this...hope you stayed clear of Poison ivy in that one photo.
Couple years ago our son gave us a ton of Chicken Of the Woods. I am not a fussy eater at all, but darned if I could find a way to make that stuff tasty.
What is/are your favorite way to prepare?

I just used butter and oil and fried it…. It was good

still not as good to me as Chanterelles or Oyster mushrooms

Better used as a chicken substitute, even boneless wings or chicken strips.
Best to me as Alfredo. It's a bit dry eaten with butter and sauteed like juicer mushroom varieties.
