Aho penalty was BS. Shocked they gave them that goal off Aho’s skate. Certainly no kicking action. Needed that one to finish the period.

Oddly enough, on TNT here during the last series, there were periods where the "Commercial Break In Progress" screen came on, indicating unpurchased ad time.

Just had one pop up now.

Guess some folks feel the marketing viewership ain't worth it.

Game set. Not coming back from 3 goals down to this team. Florida is good. Looking like a short series.
 
Some of yall give up way to easy. Certainly not an ideal way to start. They dictated the style of the game. We tried to be physical with a physical team, not the Canes style, hopefully they get back to what has worked for them most of the year and in the first two rounds.. FL did to us last night what we typically do to other teams. Can't afford to go down 0-2 and go on the road, that will be a steep hill sure enough.. but at the same time FL has been better on the road than they have at home.. Never expected this one to be easy.. heck I expected them to be playing golf already, this was supposed to be a rebuild year.. they keep finding a way.. Looking forward to seeing if they can do that again.
 
We really missed Chatfield last night.... morrow was a disaster out there.... Brad M one of the masters of the cheapshot had Ghost give him a taste of his own medicine. While I liked it ..... it may ignite the rat for the rest of the series or he could take some stupid penalties because of it..... let's see what happens. Gonna be a tough series no doubt.....
Florida fans getting in fights in the stands reminded me of Buffalo fans back when they could play hockey.
It was a fun night just wish we could of won.
 
I’ll admit I’m one of those who can get frustrated enough to give up a little too quick. I know better and I’ll be there again tonight pulling as hard as I did the other night. I know this team is capable. But I also know who they’re playing. Defending champs. So they gotta find another level. It can be done no doubt. Don’t want to use the old saying this is a must win, but I’m going to say it. This IS a must win. No two ways about it. 0-2 in the this series and the hole to climb from then is as depth as the Grand Canyon.

I didn't get to see anything but highlights of Game 1 in the Panthers vs Hurricanes series. Elderly parents take prioity over entertainment. It sounds like I might be glad I missed it. Carolina needs to play like they want to be the Champions. A great man once said; "If you want to be the best, you gotta beat the best...WOOOO-Wooo-WOOOO!!!!"

In the clips I saw, Freddy looked slow and Jordan Staal absolutely gave a goal away. Morrow didn't help a thing. He's in over his head. Thinking healing thoughts for Chatfield. It's a shame he got hurt. He was rock solid and steady all year. The team misses him. Carolina needs all hands on deck, pulling the same way as hard as they can go. I heard on the radio today that Jesperi Kotkaniemi will be a healthy scratch. You gotta bring it if you want to win the Cup. No passengers.

I thought I threw in the towel to early the other night. Nope I didn’t. Book the tee times. They have no answer for anything Florida if doing.
