Mr negative again. talking a nice way to keep kids busy and out of trouble and you have to add some negativity to it. My dad always said if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. you are not a nice man at all.

lol. Because I was happy when a team cancer left the local team.......I am not a nice man.

Gotcha.;)

Cam doing something nice doesn't overshadow what he did to that franchise. We're still feeling his effect.

He seems to be a first class human being and from most accounts was a good teammate and leader and has to be among the most unlikeable personalities in terms of media/PR.

I think he’s pretty much a regular guy who has responded to having great natural gifts and likely lots of opportunities because of those gifts in much the same way the rest of us would have - not always perfectly.

Can he be a pompous ass? Yes. He at least backed it up. Would’ve been great to see him on a better team in the NFL.

Watching what he did for kids while at Auburn is why I give him a lot of leeway. As an Auburn fan, it’s hard to not like some of these folks even if they were knuckleheads in college (imagine Bo in this picture (he was around)).

I don't dislike Auburn...

Cam Newton never had that intrinsic drive to work hard enough to be the best. He got used to being #1 with natural ability. IMO

I mean, he was playing QB in the Super Bowl and gave up.
He gave up on himself, his team, and his fans on Prime Time TV, broadcast worldwide, with the highest single-view rating share worldwide, I believe. Certainly nationwide, here.
He quit on those that believed in him. Some that had backed him up, and supported him. Or, he was scared. Afraid the Denver defensive player was gonna knock him out.

That's just how I feel about him.

From a someone who worked at the panthers during the time cam was there. He is only nice to kids when there is a camera around. Many reports of him snubbing or slapping stuff out of kids hands at the gate but you better believe if there was a camera he was amazing. Also said Steven smith was a much better person than newton.
