The main access roads into Cades Cove and Cataloochee will be closed for several months this winter for road construction projects.

Cades cove is no where near the entrance to cataloochee. And haven’t heard anything about them closing cataloochee down (not that it doesn’t need some work)

Looks like Cades Cove will still be accessible from the entrance just outside Gatlingburg towards Cherokee?
And Cataloochee will be accessible through Cove Creek Road?
Is that right?

I think the main road to CC will be closed so they can make repairs to the tunnel.

Roadwork near Cataloochee Area postponed - The Cherokee One Feather

Great Smoky Mountains National Park officials announced on Friday, Oct. 18 that the expected closure of the main access road into Cataloochee has been postponed.

They are going to close both roads to Cataloochee Valley during road construction.
