Boat trailer lights?

Anybody have a set of lights that will work for more than a year or two? I'm prepping my flounder boat and of course the 2yr old lights aren't working. Want to rewire with something that will last.

I was aboe to run my lights 8 to 10 years on salt water boat.
My fresh water boat is on 3 years and fine if I recall.
If you are having that much problem maybe you need Mag Lights.
Just remove them and stick to truck before you back into the water.

Before I sold my boat I had light problems. I bought a set of leds from Advance Auto that had a lifetime warranty. Installed with heat shrink and never had another problem.

The only way I've ever been able to make them last in salt/brackish water was by mounting them on the guide on poles. Heat shrinking every connection will help also.

I've had almost zero problems on either trailer since going led, soldered and shrink wrapped, and running a ground wire from each light all the way back up to the plug. Use the vehicle's ground.

Trailer lights are optional... or so it seems 🦆

I haven't owned a trailer without LEDs in 15 years... even have LED brake lights on my truck, they haven't shorted out when backing up to launch 😉
