My daughter is still talking more about the show mother nature put on than her actually shooting the turkey. It was a first for me in nearly 20 years chasing turkeys and I'm so happy that she realized what a special morning it was and soaked it all in.

Echo ZG and Hawglips. Congrats to all of the successful kids and guides. Personally, have spoken with only 5 folks who attempted to get a kid a bird....all 5 were successful. Another outstanding youth day for most in our area.
Congrads again to all who took kids hunting, and to the kids who got up early on a Saturday and went to the woods. I'm glad to hear of so many successful hunters out there for the first morning.
