Some folks have had good luck with the standard .223/5.56 uppers but I have avoided them like the plauge due the the MMC connection. I would look into the PSA uppers if I was doing a budgetish .224 Vlk build. By all accounts they seem to shoot better.

I would pull the trigger and give it a run. I have a few coworkers that have them. They seem to like them. They are literally right down the road.
