The Marlin 336 Texan has returned to the Marlin lineup. It is a fine looking lever gun. Only available in 30-30 at the moment but hopefully the .35 Rem will be added soon. Wouldn't a new .35 Marauder be nice?

From everything I've read they have. I was looking at a Marlin 1895 GBL 45/70 the other day and was shocked I prefered it to the Henry next to it.

been hunting with a 336 Texan for years. this is my go to gun for close up hunting. I bought this gun in 1968, and have never had a single problem.
