Are you referring to new river inlet, or new topsail inlet? Surf city doesn't technically have an inlet I'm aware of.

Topsail Inlet. I heard it was really hard getting in and out. I was told It would be best if I just took the trip to Wrightsville and go out there. The last time I did that there was no place to park.

Cant speak for topsail inlet, new river inlet is maybe a little closer to the north than wrightsville. But wrightsville shouldn't be too crowded this time of year, and that inlet is super easy with the jetties on each side.

Old Mossy Horns
Masonboro Inlet has rock walls on both sides of the inlet....
Carolina Beach Inlet a couple of months ago was good... just follow the red/green cans.
New River Inlet is good... just follow the cans out.....
New Topsail Inlet.... I do not know... have not used in a couple of years.

I wouldn't try topsail unless you follow someone that knows the water. Its not marked and always changing. JMO
