I am not sure their research is as sound as it should be, but their marketing most definitely sucks. all you have to do is look at the 7mm express or whatever Remington called it at the time, and what eventually became the 280 Remington, then the 260 and the Short action ultra mags....all great designs but the twists rates were lacking and the marketing was abysmal on all three. The SAUMs were superior designs to the WSMs, but the WSMs had much better marketing and support then the SAUMs did.
