Another rabbit season gone

Well, another rabbit season is gone. Sucks!!! Always feel a little depressed. First year in a while I didn't go on the last day. Had to be responsible and act grown up. Not fun. Lol. We've lost 2 hunters in the past couple of years and are down to 3 dogs. One guy had major back surgery and missed the whole season. Not sure if he'll be stomping briars again. But, great memories were made..as always.

We missed the last day also. Had a decent year.My son had got 3 puppies early last year and they have been doing great.Hope to pick up another place to hunt before next season . Where are you located ?

I most always skip the last week of the season, do not want to mess with them during their breeding cycle. We had a good year too, I only have 2 dogs and they are approaching their "golden" years and I think I may get a couple of pups this year...
