I was out for a walk through some land that I only visit in March after the bucks drop antlers. I did not find an antler but I did find this rub on a wild cherry tree. It's a little more than 36" tall and I think might have been made by the buck I took with my muzzle loader this past season. Of course I hope it was made by some other buck that I am yet to meet but whoever left it, it is a pretty good one for the area. There aren't any giants in my world so when I spot rubs larger than what is normal I pay attention. This land is mostly a big bedding area and I hunt just on the edge of it. Since I only step into it maybe two times in March those deer have it to themselves with just the coyotes and I guess an occasional poacher. When I quit walking around in there several years ago my hunting got lots better.
