A good stew/goulash recipe

Not my recipe, but made this today with a tough piece of shoulder from an older buck, it turned out great.


I added some carrots, parsnip and a thin sliced bulb of fennel, simmered about 3 hours. Toss in some sour cream and extra hot paprika at the table.

I wanted to try something new and this one definitely earned a spot in the regular rotation. Give it a shot.
