Here's a few crappy cell phone pics from the last few weeks. I'll see what else is hiding in my phone while I'm waiting for a truck to get back to me.....
I guess I need to say where they're from...
First is Wallace Lake on the Salmon Challis national forest.
Second is Idaho Falls. 3 and 4 are Edisto Island.

The picture in the court square isn't a great picture, but it was a memorial in uvalde Texas. I was doing a morning run and had to stop. I couldn't imagine what those families and town went through.
Number 2 is some fire in south Texas, can't remember the closest town. We got there and it was already a little under 300 acres. I think it was just under 400 when we got it stopped.
Timber rattler
4. Nueces river about 45 minutes north of uvalde tx. I wish I had a fishing rod to chase some of the Guadalupe bass swimming there

Here's a few more. I think that the two species of pitcher plants found there are the purple and the green pitcher plants (?) Both are in the western part of the state. These were the first ones I've seen.

I've been trying to do better at taking pictures while out and about.. but I usually forget. Here's home sweet home for probably the next week. Nice and quiet but tent stakes don't like the ground up on this ridge. Salmon Challis NF20220901_195347.jpg

When I went up to waterrock knob earlier this summer the fog was pretty thick at sunrise. Things were a little clearer this morning. Got a run down the MST trail and back up the parkway before the clouds started rolling in. 20220925_072025.jpg20220925_082002.jpg
