2025 freshwater catch thread

Thought I was initially snagged on this one. 5’10” Yamaga blanks blue current 3, 2lb line, 1g bg1 jig head and motor oil LarvaZ for bait. Fish made the drag sing! Here’s the jig for size reference

Took the little boat up to the county park this afternoon and did better than we expected

Fourth of July camping trip went well. Caught lots of dink largemouth every day, but did turn up this fat 17”, no scale with me. Also got a bonus rainbow that was released in the grease

This past Sunday I Had a good Trip on the river with 3 buddies. This is an annual Trip that a Buddie and I do with others welcomed.

We got out just before the Storms Hit.

Duckmauler maybe next year. If you had been there then there would have been an Auburn fan there.

Represented today are fans of UNC, State, Bama and Georgia.

I actually met one of them though my fishing buddies in Georgia but he lives here now.

Lots of fish caught today just no big ones. I did lose several 4-5lbers. Ouch.

Alabama Bass have taken over and it has for sure impacted the Largemouth.

All 4 Boats were Old town 119/s and I actualy got all 3 of them into these canoes

I Got Bill Prince in Georgia into the 119 and then he got the othe 2 into the OT 119's.
