2005 Tundra Trans leak

Well explained bigten and very helpful. I will be going forward with this project once the rain is out of here. I believe the leak is coming from the driveshaft, yoke, universal joints, etc and hopefully my mechanic will figure this out. All we have done so far is replace that seal on the splined shaft coming out of the trans. I still believe that seal is rubbing something causing it to go bad in a few days, or as ellwoodjake on a post above stated he replaced the universal joints on a SR5 2wd and this fixed the problem. Will see. Thanks.
