Decided to head out for the last hour of daylight. Rain has stopped for now and the tree rats have come out. Hopefully the deer start to move as well.

Haven’t been on here for a few days, broke my phone and just got it replaced yesterday. It had been fairly slow here in WV except for a few squirrels yesterday morning, and then this morning I was able to get a deer on our farm. Hoping to get one more with a bow before we leave.

About 12.30 hit the ground blind and sat till after sunset. Saw a couple of squirrels and woodpeckers. Man its been sloooooow here. The only shots I heard was 3 shots right before I walked into the house tonight.

This pm worked out for me, wet and all. Fairly big girl.

Edit: Sorry about the fuzzy pic. I didn't notice. It was late and I was a bit tired from the drag. This was a "target doe" of mine. I could ID her from a white mark on her forehead and have been getting her on camera for at least these past 2 years as an adult. Definitely the alpha doe of the herd, and the most cautious of the bunch. She is often with 2 fawns, a yearling, and another doe -- and this was the case yesterday pm. I had to wait to get a clean shot at only her.

Now wonder things were messed up today. Even the forecaster was discombobulated.
