#11 caps?

So I recently inherited a CVA Stag Horn and I have zero info on it as far as age. It definitely takes no.11 caps and I don't see any signs of a 209 conversion kit for it through my research online (not that it's really necessary). My issue is that I can't find any #11 caps anywhere in the surrounding charlotte area! I do travel to the Asheboro and Biscoe area often as those are my hunting spots but I sure would like to get this dialed in before opener on the 30th. Anyone have suggestions? I've already ordered some from basspro but have no idea when they'll ship.... but that's my backup if there's nothing local.
Thanks y'all!

If you can't get your basspro caps or find them elsewhere in a timely manner, notify me, I live SW of Asheboro, and I will get you some caps.

I happen to have a few.

I've converted a couple Staghorns to 209 in the past. I've still got one floating around in one of the safes.

It's a pretty straightforward and easy conversion. The conversion kit was readily available the last time I looked.

On the No.11's, Walmart up here had a good many yesterday evening.

If you choose to go the No.11 route, 100 gr FFg behind a .44 cal 240gr Hornady XTP has always seemed to shoot well in those Staghorns

Yeah I can't find any conversion kits online. I know this is a pre-1999 model so maybe that's why? Not sure. I don't really have anything against #11, but just hoping they dont' become harder to find. Thanks for your reply!

Twelve Pointer
Graf and sons has them in stock but the shipping and hazzard fee is as much or more than the cost of the caps
