It’s cold. It’s clear and it’s still. Temp at cabin says 17. Drinking coffee and preparing to head in. Deer were on the move yesterday evening on the drive up. Must have seen 100.

These types of mornings are why I hunt. The stars are stunning right now. Can’t wait to watch the woods come alive.

Good luck everyone. It finally feels like November!!

24 degrees and calm in Warren. Wife got up early this morning and made a big breakfast for me. I'm dressed in my cold weather bibs for the first time this season, and by the look of the weather forecast I'll be wearing them all week, and that's a good thing. An extended period of cold weather right now is just what we needed for deer hunting. Dress warm, eat a hot breakfast, and get hunting! Good luck to all!

14 degrees where I’m at, clear and calm like everywhere else. I’ve got 2 doe tags left and I’ve got until noon to fill them. No doubt the deer are gonna die today. Doesn’t get much better than this

Edit: may not make it to where I intended. The initial ascent has my hips and feet screaming from yesterdays pack out 🤣

The truck said 23° when I got out of it this morning. Already saw a small deer right at legal light. Hunting with my 78 year old father in law today and he's as restless as a toddler. I might just take a nap. Thank God for hunting opportunities, Buddy heaters and enclosed boxes. 😀

In a blind this am. Not that tough anymore. 21° wind chill of 6°. 2 driving in is all so far. Deer sighting have went way down past few days. No where near chasing like a week ago.
Did I mention I hate hunting in the wind. Tend not to see much.

Up a tree on Jordan. Forgot it was Saturday when the duck hunters are out. I went deep towards the lake. A boatload of duck hunters are hitting their calls hard. My new hunting jacket and pants were delivered yesterday so today is my first hunt with them. Warm and cozy so far. I really like the chest pockets for your hands.

There's 2 behind her I didn't see until now. I see them in the last pic. Can you find them?
I see what looks like ears and possibly a rump behind a tree far left in the pic. Three bedding together may just be normal but a lone doe bedding within a few yards of a fresh scrape is worthy of watching long time
