I'm In overlooking one of my favorite rifle season logging roads. Maybe I'll get lucky, who knows. I know its buggy and hot but you cant kill them in bed!

Anyone else looking to roll smoke on a big one today?

My buddy just shot at an 8 point. Four does came out first. The deer ran off. Report to follow.

Thermacell and Deep Woods Off ready to go. Plan to be in a tree by 4:00.

My buddy missed. We lookes thoroughly. I sid get my first kill with my Glock 43 on a 3ft cotton mouth. Back at it this evening

Back at it in the same tree for the evening. Wife said I was crazy because it’s too hot. After walking in and climbing I have to say she is right.

Damn it was humid. The Off and Thermacell worked perfect. Squirrels, crows, and a big owl.... no deer.
