Settled in on public land near New Bern. Not in my #1 spot pick, there was someone setup between me and where I wanted to go so I went to my backup spot. Sitting on the ground, hoping the next 45minutes till shooting light passes quick. Good luck to everyone out today!

I'm out in Warren County, sitting on the UTV at a crossing spot with the rifle on my lap and a mug of coffee, waiting to see if the dogs will run one by. Judging from the amount of truck traffic going by the house this morning, they should be hot and heavy.

Had a 4” spike at 45 yards eating corn. Watched him for 20 minutes til h bounced off. Had to come out early for something else. Never heard a single shot.
