SFL Socialist Football League

I'm not a huge NFL (SFL) fan, but I can easily say that the political platform being offered to these entitled athletes will seal the deal for me. If things are going to go the way I think they will, I won't be watching. I just heard the Texans and Chiefs teams are discussing not coming onto the field tonight until after the National Anthem. Someone else shared the rumor with me that there will be social justice slogans in the end zones. Y'all let me know if it's ever safe again for me to tune in to professional football.

Saw where chefs came onto field for anthem and the other anthem. Texans stayed in locker room. Don't know if sound was pumped in but sounded like a lot of booing. May be wrong but I saw it on fox news. I'm done watching that mess also

Not watching either. And since the Big 12 are making players wear social justice slogans on their jerseys and blm stickers on their helmets, I'm not watching them either.

Was nice to hear the boos. Lots of tweeter folks really upset and not understanding why folks would boo. Mind blowing

Last NFL game I partially watched was Panthers in the Super Bowl and that was only because buddy invited us to their Super Bowl party. Barely watched the game, we talked more hunting than football.

Ordinarily you might possibly see Fox News’ take on reduced viewership for the NFL but strangely not much....... guess they want people watching Fox Sports since they carry NFL games.

Sorry, still not gonna watch. 😆

I just listened some of the Bears game on radio while working around the house... will not be turning the TV on to watch any game.

I saw that tv ratings for games were down quite a bit depending on the channel. - Fox not so much - I guess playing it down was smart for them. I heard nothing about games at work yesterday when usually a few would mention it. In this climate it seems unlikely to improve

They've graduated from using social justice antics before the game - now they are doing it during play.

Every player on both teams stood for the "black national anthem", while during our nation's anthem, many chose to sit, kneel, raise their fist, etc. and THEN, they ALL took a knee during a live play! I guess they got the attention they were looking for.

I hate how social justice and politics have hijacked the world of sports. Not just one team or school, but EVERY sport at every level. It has ruined something that was enjoyable for our family and unifying for our communities and our country. It's symbolic of the division being fomented from the left to intentionally destroy the America we know - the melting pot where citizens share a common bond. The wife and kids still want to watch, but I just can't stomach it. It's taken all the fun out of the competition when the biggest headlines are the distractions, and the best players hate what you stand for as an American and as a human being.

Gets funnier...

The man who started it all, Kapernick, is lambasting the NFL and calling the recent turn of events propaganda.

He's even madder at the NFL.

I watched, will continue to watch.. I waited until the game had started to turn it on.. and for the most part is was just a game at that point. Strange with few or no fans.. but better than no sports.

I watched the panthers game. It's the only one i watched though, where i used to watch 3-4 per weekend.

I thought it was stupid of them to pipe in the crowd noise...both cheering and booing.

After the all out war that has been declared on law enforcement, and the two deputies being shot in LA and the reaction of people at the hospital and on scene. I have never felt so down about the state of our country. I be darn if I will support or follow any of these millionaires. And their stupidity while a 31 year old former librarian and officer of 14 months shows more bravery than they could ever display. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I couldn't deprive myself of my ol joy of watching football. This country at some point needs to make a clear stand.

Been doing it for MLB all season. At least they didn't resort to cardboard cutouts or CGI to make it look like there were fans there.

For goodness sakes, our media is so fake, now we are even faking the fan attendance at our sporting events. I say if they won't allow fans, they've got no business trying to simulate having them there. Play in dead silence.

Meh.. I rail against the cancel culture on a regular basis.. this is no different.. I love sports and could care less about their politics so I ignore the political and watch the sport. IF there was another alternative I would watch that.. this Sunday I will be watching golf, and last night the hockey game was on not the football game.

To hell with em all. I'm done with sports. My line in the sand has been drawn and will remain deeply entrenched. . The flag in which they refuse to stand for out of respect for our country and fallen country men and women is the same flag the provides them the privilege to play a child's game making millions. They don't need me and I damn sure don't need them.

So you'll pitch a fit and talk to the manager of a Harris Teeter that posts a no guns sign and boycott that local business....but you have no care in the world about supporting multi billion dollar organizations that promote politics and politicians that would happily take away the 2nd amendment altogether if they could.

Logic.

I flipped over to the Panthers twice to check the score early on. Both times I was there maybe a minute and both times they were camera zooming on their BS propaganda. I never looked again nor at any other games scores. No idea if they won or lost and don't care. To hell with them ALL!!!!
