Best chowder recipe for me to date.

Wanted a new recipe for a mess of fish I caught last week. Had some shrimp to add to the porgy.
Super simple, quick and sooo good.
sauteed onions in butter till soft. Add flour to make roux. Add potatoe, celery, carrots, corn, wine and stock (I used chicken). Simmer until veggies are done then add seafood (porgy and shrimp for me) stir in cream (i used half and half) and simmer for a few minutes to cook seafood and thicken chowder. Little salt and pepper, thyme, old bay and I threw in some cayenne. Not sure I've had better fish to be honest.

I often make this chowder in the winter with crappie and it’s beyond amazing. yours looks just as good.
similar to mine. only difference is sub the water for broth, take the bacon away and just use a roux and cream.

I picked up some crab legs and more shrimp. still looking for some scallops and would love some lobster claw too to make another batch. Spent too much on the crab and the scallops they had were fugly looking and expensive.
