Why don't we just make the SEC the new amature arena football league since they are so far ahead of the rest of college football. They need their own spotlight, separate from the rest of NCAA. They are so superior and shouldn't even be in the same league.

The real question is why haven’t the other conferences been able to get anything going? They all play by the same rules. Or at least they all break the same rules. Other conferences need to step it up. Hell, other teams in the SEC need to step it up too.

Well at present one word answer is Saban he is prime reason for SEC continued dominance without him SEC still win but not nearly every year. Things change there was time Pac 12 was competitive Pete Carroll bought some fine teams in his day that were as good as anyone out there. Ohio st can still do it but just not frequently. Clemson lately been there.
